Norma acquired her education in the public schools of Macon County.

Ms. Odessa “Perk” Foster was born February 27, 1945, in Sumter County, Georgia to the late Mr. Rozell Foster Sr. and the late Mrs. Ida Willie Mott Foster. She attended Staley High School and after high school, she worked at Walmart for several years before an unfortunate injury.

On September 5, 2022, Carl departed this life and entered into eternal rest. Mr. Carl Isreal was born in Montezuma, Georgia to the late Willie Isreal Sr. and Lillian Clark Isreal on July 24, 1950. After high school, he attended Fort Valley State University. He was united in Holy Matrimony to Carolyn Johnson Isreal on December 13, 1970. Terry Wynn, son of the late Rosa Wynn and Clifford Mitchell, was born September 9, 1957, in Macon County, Georgia.
After graduating in 1970, he enlisted in the United States Army and served from 1970 to 1979. After traveling all over the world, he returned to Montezuma, Georgia and started a career at Robins Air Force Base in Warner Robins, Georgia. Roscoe Lamar Jr. was born on July 5, 1948, in Americus, Georgia to the late Roscoe Lamar, Sr. and the late Mary Lou Lamar. At the age of 18, he moved to Hartford, Connecticut in search for better opportunities. He was also employed by the City of Hartford’s Department of Public Works, where he retired after 20 years of dedicated service. In July of 1953, Mag was united in holy matrimony to the late Lester West.

He was a 2022 graduate of Americus-Sumter County High School and was employed at Popeye’s Chicken. He was planning to further his education by going to college. He was preceded in death by his uncle Mr. Arthur Styles, an aunt Mrs. Carol McCoy, paternal grandmother Ms. Beverly Bowens and maternal grandfather Reverend Arthur Styles. Karl died tragically on Friday, October 14, 2022, at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital in Albany, Georgia.
At an early age, Terry confessed Jesus Christ as his personal savior and joined Christ Church of Deliverance. Terry constantly talked about God's grace, mercy and compassion to all in his presence. He will be remembered for his caring spirit and love for the Word. Terry passed away on Friday, September 10, 2022, in Connecticut.

He was preceded in death by his youngest son Walter Lee Osborne Jr. He loved his kids so much, he would do anything to make them have everything he never did. His favorite thing to do was take his boat out on the lake on hot summer days and ride through the waves of beautiful bodies of water. That's when I believe he was at his full potential and peace. He looked at the waves in such a beautiful way with his beautiful brown eyes.
This union blessed them with three daughters, Elaine West Turner , Marion West McDonald and the late Eria West Jackson of Montezuma, Georgia. Mag was also the stepmother to Lester West Jr. of Miami, Florida and the late Beverly West Bates of Miami, Florida. He was the “life of the party.” He loved to “dress to impress.” Wherever he went, he wore his Stacey Adams shoes. Bruh Rut Jones lived a full and vicarious life during his tenure here on Earth.

In his spare time, Sammie had a passion for writing poems and spending time with family. Following a brief illness, Sammie peacefully transitioned from this earthly life on November 28, 2022. He was preceded in death by his brothers Marshall Fobbs and George W. Tooke, Jr., his mother Nannie Mae Tooke, and his stepfather George W. Tooke, Sr.
During his younger years, he played softball and managed a team. He loved spending time with his nephews at the place he called “The House.” To many he was known as “Unc or Pops”. David possessed a no-nonsense demeanor but would give you his last. His children, grandchildren and great grands were his world. They were his first choice for spending his loving time with. He instilled the importance of love and family bonding.
